Citizenship to persons of Chinese origin

KOTTE: The grant of citizenship to persons of Chinese Origin (Special Provisions) Bill was passed without any debate in Parliament yesterday.

Chief Government Whip and Urban Development and Sacred Area Development Minister Dinesh Gunawrdhana moved the Bill in Parliament.
