Pipe-borne water for Kopiwatte

A new pipe-borne watersupply project for Kopiwatte a remote village situated in the Ginigathena area was commissioned by the Ambagamuwa Divisional Secretariat.

Nuwara Eliya District Parliamentarian and Minister of Livestock Development R.M.C.B. Ratnayake funded Rs. 50,000 for implementation of the rural watersupply scheme.

The villagers were greatly inconvenienced in obtaining water for their drinking and household chores during the past several years
