Rain curtails play on day two

S. Prasanna captured six wickets for 125 to restrict the touring Bangladesh Academy team to 441 in their first innings on the second day of their four day fixture against the Sri Lanka Academy continued at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium yesterday.

The home side could face only four deliveries before bad light and rain brought an early end to the days proceedings at 4.40 p.m. Sri Lanka Academy's bowling was hampered following the injury to spinner Suraj Mohamed who did not take the field on the second day.

Sri Lanka Academy: 0 for no loss.
