Abdul Cader requests for Deputy Leader's post

Kandy District MP A.R.M. Abdul Cader in a letter to the UNP Chief Ranil Wickremesinghe has requested that he be appointed Deputy Leader of the Party.

He has also presented for deputy posts for John Amaratunga and K. Velautham to proposed minority interests.

Copies of the letters have been posted to the Party President Rukman Senanayake, General Secretary, Tissa Attanayake and members of the Executive Committee as well.
