popular singer is billed to endorse Cream Soda in a variety of high visibility profiles in the near future.

Vice President and Head of Beverages S. Srikanth said, “Shihan Mihiranga has been enjoying star status ever since he catapulted to fame during the Sirasa Super Star Season 1 in 2005/2006. Despite his withdrawal from the finals, Mihiranga still enjoys a growing fan base all over Sri Lanka and still holds top slot as the undisputed teenage heart throb in the country. Just as with Roshan Ranawana and EGB, I have no doubt that we have made the perfect choice with Shihan Mihiranga and Cream Soda.”

Commenting on his new role Mihiranga said, “I am undoubtedly delighted and honoured to be promoting a truly Sri Lankan brand, Cream Soda, which has been enjoying widespread popularity over decades in Sri Lanka, making it a household name.”

Manufactured and marketed by Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), Elephant Cream Soda’s brand equity was maintained and the fact was reinforced at the People’s Award 2007, when the brand was selected as the “Most Popular Beverage” of the year for the second consecutive year.

As some would know, People’s Awards were conducted by Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing together with Neilson’s. The results were based on intense consumer research carried out over a period of six months. Cream Soda was in fact one of the leading brands which was supporting the Sirasa Superstars Seasons 1 and 2, a reality show, which brought true raw local musical talents into the limelight.
