Facets 2008 begins on Saturday

Facets 2008 will glitter in style this time too in Sri Lanka showcasing the beauty and rarity of her natural, magnificent blue sapphires and dozen of other varieties of gems and stone-studded jewellery in gold, white gold and silver.

The show will be held at the BMICH, from September 6 to 9.

The Fair will showcase a wide variety of sapphires, gemstones and hand-made finest jewellery from producers and wholesalers from all the main producing areas of Sri Lanka.

A series of jewellery fashion shows, pairing fashion with fine jewellery, will be held daily during the entire duration of the Fair, adding glamour and excitement.

Wholesalers from the main gemstone producing countries in Africa, Asia, South America and Australia are invited to exhibit their gemstone products at the show.

Special Collector’s gemstone corner will provide the opportunity of some of the rare and important gemstone pieces and materials.
