ASUS launches F8 Notebook Series

Epsi Computers Authorised dealers for ASUS in Sri Lanka announced the launch of the ASUS F8 notebook series in Taiwan.

Group Product Manager EPSI Computers, Sankha Jayaratne, said this Notebook is designed for users who has always wanted a truly versatile and portable notebook that fulfills all their computing needs, and that complements their taste and lifestyle, Equipped to meet the challenges of work, as well as the need for a broad range of digital entertainment.

The F8’s performance is bolstered by a raft of unique technologies and software features - the most notable of which is the inclusion of the latest iteration of Express Gate that empowers users with an eight second boot-up time for rapid access to a host of multimedia and online applications. The F8 is equally impressive on the aesthetics front, bearing subtle motifs that exude luxury and coming in a five attractive colors.

The additional built-in operating system makes available a host of the most commonly used applications to users instantly, including web browser, instant messenger, Skype, photo manager, music player and online games. With this truly convenient, instant access to the Internet, users can now send a last-minute email before rushing off to work, browse the Web in between appointments and reach friends and family via instant messenger all in the blink of an eye.

In addition, Express Gate has also effectively created two computers in one, allowing the primary user to share the use of the computer with complete peace of mind. When under the Express Gate environment, Internet access, music and photos can be shared without altering the files and setup in the Windows operating system reserved for personal use.

He said not only is the ASUS F8 powered by a dedicated higher performance 3D graphics core for excellent performance in fast-action 3D games, it also features a built-in TV tuner with a remote control that is safely stored in its own slot on the notebook when not in use.
