Seenigama Sri Devol Maha Devalaya Kap planting on August 21

The Kapsituweeme function of the Seenigama Sri Devol Maha Devalaya will be held on August 21 at the auspicious time of 10.07 a.m.

An all night pirith ceremony will be held on September 8. Almsgiving will be held on September 9. The first perahera will parade the streets the same day.

On September 10 the day perahera will parade the streets from Seenigama to Hikkaduwa. The first night perahera will be held on September 11 while the last night perahera will parade the streets on September 12. The Devol Madu Yagaya will be held on Saturday 13 night. On Sunday 14 the fire walking will take place on seven fires. At six o clock the following day Deva Dana will be held the trustee of the Seenigama Devol Maha Devalaya S. Viraj told the Daily News.
