Aspic appoints Deputy Chairman

S.H.Piyasiri assumed duties as the Deputy Chairman of the Aspic Corporation Ltd with effect from August 11.

He has a distinguished career in the banking and finance industry in Sri Lanka having over 33 years experience in different perspectives.

He is a graduate in Economics (Banking and Currency) from University of Peradeniya and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Irish Business School UK.

He also became a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers London.

He held the position of the President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers London, Colombo Centre for two consecutive years from 2006 to 2008 thus contributing immensely to the development of the banking industry in Sri Lanka.

He held the post of General Manager/Chief Executive officer of the National Savings Bank (NSB).
