Triposha manufacture to be resumed soon

The manufacture of Triposha will be resumed shortly, Healthcare and Nutrition Ministry sources said.

The temporary shortage of the principal raw material, maize and soya beans has been eased after Health Secretary, Dr. Athula Kahandaliyanage discussed the matters with the suppliers who agreed to resume the supplies.

The Healthcare and Nutrition Ministry supplies triposha free to different parts of the country. The monthly requirement amounts to 870 metric tons. The annual imput of raw materials is estimated to be 8,000 metric tons of maize and 4,000 metric tons of soya beans, Ministry sources said.
