Security awareness in Kandy

An awareness programme on national security organised by the Surakimu Lanka Organisation on the initiative of Minister Mahindananda Alutgamage will be held tomorrow at the Kandy town prior to the launch of the Esala perahera.

The cleaning of congested and public areas, and search of all vehicles will be undertaken under this programme.

The public will also be briefed on how they should act in the interest of public security.
