HDCC Economic seminar today

Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce (HDCC) has organized a seminar on Economic Development Prospects and Challenges in the Hambantota District on today the (25) at the Peacock Beach Hotel Hambantota - from 09.00 - 12.30 hrs.

This seminar is aimed at creating awareness among the HDCC membership and Business Community outside the Hambantota District on the existing and potential economic development that could be derived from the mega development projects that are happening in the district, at present.

The seminar is mainly based on the ‘Economic Development Strategy for the Hambantota district’, which is prepared by HDCC with the technical support of Manchester Solutions of UK.

This strategy is presented for the purpose of providing a basis for the coordinated development of the economy in the Hambantota district, through a meaningful participation by all stakeholders.
