Nuwara Eliya Golf Club emerge winners

The tournament conducted among the Sri Lankan Golf clubs for caddies was held at the picturesque Nuwara Eliya Golf Club on the 11th and 12th of July.

The Caddies from Nuwara Eliya completely outplayed the Victoria Golf Club in the finals to emerge as champions under the leadership of P. Sunderam, Earlier Royal Colombo Golf Club had lost to Victoria Golf club played at Digana.

The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club under the presidentship of Mr. A. Umesh De Silva hosted a dinner for the champions in recognition of their talents. Captain Balendren, Vice captain Ken Murray and Secretary of the Club Wignesh Nadarajah were in attendance.

The tournament was conducted under the patronage of Mr. Chiran Chandrasena who had come down from USA, who himself is a Golfer.
