NAASL renovates two community centres

The Netherlands Alumni Association of Sri Lanka (NAASL) assisted the renovation of the Katukurunda and Waskaduwa fishermen community centres on a request by Kalutara fishery development officer M. J. Susantha.

A former Council Members of the City of Vlaardingen Yvonne Batenburge informed the NAAL that she could assist to repair the two centres. The two centres were repaired at a cost of LKR 2.5 million, said, NAAL President S.P.C. Kumarasinghe.

At the handing over ceremony of these items to the two centres Vlaardingen was represented by Hanna de Vries and Gerban Jelles. The project was coordinated by Heman Dharmawardena of NAAL.
