Work together for OISCA and nation - Prelate
It is natural for heated arguments to arise among laymen, but these
should be forgotten to work together for the betterment of the nation
and OISCA, said Ven. Karagaswewa Sumanaratne Thera at the AGM of the Sri
Lanka Chapter of OISCA International (Japan) at the Subodhi Institute
Piliyandala.
He said that aims and objectives of all of us as far as OISCA is
concerned, should be one and should all work as one. It is possible for
expansion and development only if the branches work hand in hand with
the main office.
New president Nayanaratna Weerasekera said, "I was elected to the
office of the president of the Sri Lanka chapter unexpectedly. I vow to
do my best for OISCA and the principles it stands for.
I think it is necessary to have the main office in a rural area as
our services are centred around these areas. I fully agree with Ms.
Riyuki Sato the Japanese coordinator on the matter. All office bearers
should represent his branch and it is unethical to represent another
branch. |
