Commando troops and the 58 Division under the command of Brigadier Shavendra Silva rejoice after fully capturing the North Western coastal town Vidathalthivu on Wednesday noon. Vidathalthivu is where the LTTE had their biggest Sea Tiger base in the Western coast and was fully liberated for the first time after the early 1990s by the Army.
