Gampaha Dist. Swimming on July 5-6

The fifth annual Gampaha District Swimming Championship organised by Regent International School Gampaha is scheduled for July 5-6. The meet will be conducted at Regent school swimming pool commencing 9.00 a.m. each day.

The meet conducted in accordance with the rules of the SLASU and FINA has attracted 20 schools and 12 clubs from Gampaha District. The winners and two runners up will be awarded gold, silver and bronze along with certificates.

The overall champions will go away with the Regent International School Challenge Trophy. Kelani Swimming Club won the boys championship while the girls section won by Viharamahadevi Balika Vidyalaya Kiribathgoda.

The meet co-sponsored by Sri Lanka Insurance Corp, Elephant House, Peoples Bank, Nations Trust Bank, Lanka Orix Leasing Co, Metropolitan Agencies and Makeen Books. BP
