AGM on Saturday

The Annual General Meeting of the Sri Sumangala College, Panadura Old Boys Association (SSCOBA) will be held at Hotel Janaki, Colombo 5 on Saturday (21) at 6.30 p.m.

Reputed engineer, S.T.Perera will be the chief with Rear Admiral Daya Dharmapriya as the chief guest. Jt. Secretary of the SSCOBA requested all members of the Sri Sumangala OBA to be present at the AGM.

The table leaders St. Joseph’s College will take on Mahanama MV in their Singer inter school under 20 Division One Group B league rugby tournament deciding match at Havelock Park today.

Thurstan in easy win

Thurstan College defeated Lumbini MV by 16 points to 7 points in their Singer inter school under 20 Division One Group B league rugby tournament match worked off at Longden Place yesterday.

The winners collected their points from two tries and two penalties after having led 8-7 at half time. Lumbini MV responded with a solitary goal.
