The National HR Conference is the premier HR event for sharing
knowledge and new insights among HR professionals in Sri Lanka. The
conference focussed on topics such as best HR practices to meet business
challenges, HR value creation, meeting the expectations of stakeholders,
the importance of HRM, the need to strategize HRM and develop the
competencies of its practitioners.
As a locally established HR solutions developer, eSenze has enjoyed a
strong working relationship with IPM. Speaking on their association with
IPM, Director of eSenze Technologies Thariq Sanoon said, "Supporting the
IPM conference was an ideal opportunity for us to identify and focus
more on global HRM solutions. We are growing in leaps and bounds,
expanding beyond shore and reaching even the international markets to
support a growing customer base."
Our product development with improved R&D and market development
teams' work hand in hand identifying the growing needs in the field of
HRM. IPM has been a catalyst to the advances the industry has made, and
we hope to play a key part in their progressive efforts in the future".
With the introduction of their web based HR software application,
eSenze has given Sri Lankan companies global remote access to their
systems, improving the efficiency of HR practices for over 500 local and
foreign clients.
The growing demand for cost efficient, reliable total solutions in
international markets has taken their very own brand "eHRM" to the
Indian, Taiwanese, Bangladeshi, Maldivian, Cambodian, and Tanzanian
markets. They plan to enter other South Asian countries and the Middle
East by early next year followed by European and African countries.
Chief Guest Director General Charted Institute of Personnel
Management (CIPD) Geoff Armstrong, and guest speakers Prof. Rob Goffee,
Professor of Organizational Behaviour at the London Business School, and
Prof. Dave Ulrich, a renowned HR guru, presented international
perspectives and shared their knowledge on leadership & the challenges
and opportunities facing HR professionals.
The International exposure of products such as eSenze's will create
opportunities for the fledgling Sri Lankan IT product market.
Dispelling the notion that these automated systems result in the
redundancy of HR professionals, General Manager of eSenze Technologies,
Mahesh Dissanayake, said, "The value of E-HR solutions is often
overlooked by companies in pursuit of short term savings."
"What must be considered is the opportunity cost of the team's time
spent on manual work, which could be more productively dedicated to
training staff." |
