Eighteen member Sri Lanka team for Asian Federation Cup Hockey

An Eighteen member Sri Lanka team will be leaving the island on June
12 to take part in the 3rd Men’s Asian Federation Cup Hockey Tournament
which will be worked off from June 14 to 22 at Delta Hockey Stadium in
Singapore.
The tournament features nine countries which have grouped into two.
Sri Lanka playing in group B along with Honk Kong, Oman and Thailand,
while taking on Oman in the opening fixture on June 14.
The group A features Bangladesh, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan Brunei
and host Singapore.

In the second match on June 18 Sri Lanka will face Hong Kong while
again lankan stickers will be up against Thailand in their third fixture
on the following day.
The semi finals will be worked off on June 21 with the final is
scheduled for June 22. |
