Citi Bank register fifth victory

Citi Bank NA and Informatics continued their winning spree with both teams scoring back-to-back victories in the on-going Trendex Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., sponsored, MCA 'F' Division 30-overs League tournament which continued over the week-end.

With wins over Mackwoods by seven wickets and Singer Sri Lanka 'B' also by the same margin Citi Bank NA now have five straight wins under their belt.

By beating Union Assurance by seven wickets and Data Entry by 92-runs, Informatics now have four successive wins to their favour.

Week end's best batting came from Informatics opening batsman Anura Athukorale, who scored a blistering 94 runs in 62 balls, which included 5 sixes and 12 fours against Data Entry, while the bowling was by Smart Shirts, R.I.B.A. Bandara, who bagged 4 for 7 in 4.1 overs against Mobitel.
