British Council IELTS candidates can register at CLA

The IELTS test is an international English language test, which has widespread acceptance. It is estimated that about 15,000 Sri Lankans who want to go overseas for studies or work take this test annually.

The British Council, recognising CLA's strengths, has reached an agreement with them to provide greater services for IELTS test takers. Students who want to register for the IELTS exam at the British Council can now register for the test through CLA at the current IELTS test fee of Rs. 16,000.

"They can choose their specific module and the best test date for them," a British Council official said.

CLA is a well-established IELTS training centre.

They currently conduct 33 hours regular and speed track preparation courses for both the General and Academic modules. They also conduct workshops for test takers. Some key features of the preparation classes at CLA are that, highly trained lecturers who are specialists in IELTS conduct them and the class size is limited to a maximum of 20 students.

Their lecturers provide individualised help and feedback in numerous ways. Students who enrolls for classes at CLA also get selected written assignments marked by an IELTS examiner at no extra charge.

Access to all practice materials and the learning that takes place in the IELTS preparation classroom at CLA will make any candidate a confident one.

Statistics show that CLA has had a very high percentage of IELTS test takers obtain the band they require or higher in one sitting. Preparation is the key to success in IELTS.
