British Council IELTS candidates can register at CLA
The IELTS test is an international English language test, which has
widespread acceptance. It is estimated that about 15,000 Sri Lankans who
want to go overseas for studies or work take this test annually.
The British Council, recognising CLA's strengths, has reached an
agreement with them to provide greater services for IELTS test takers.
Students who want to register for the IELTS exam at the British Council
can now register for the test through CLA at the current IELTS test fee
of Rs. 16,000.
"They can choose their specific module and the best test date for
them," a British Council official said.
CLA is a well-established IELTS training centre.
They currently conduct 33 hours regular and speed track preparation
courses for both the General and Academic modules. They also conduct
workshops for test takers. Some key features of the preparation classes
at CLA are that, highly trained lecturers who are specialists in IELTS
conduct them and the class size is limited to a maximum of 20 students.
Their lecturers provide individualised help and feedback in numerous
ways. Students who enrolls for classes at CLA also get selected written
assignments marked by an IELTS examiner at no extra charge.
Access to all practice materials and the learning that takes place in
the IELTS preparation classroom at CLA will make any candidate a
confident one.
Statistics show that CLA has had a very high percentage of IELTS test
takers obtain the band they require or higher in one sitting.
