Sokians clinch Schools TT Titles

Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda stole the limelight by clinching both boys and girls under 16 titles in their All Island Inter School Table Tennis Championship which concluded at the S. Thomas' College, Indoor Stadium, Mount Lavinia on Sunday.

In addition the under 10 tournament also conducted simultaneously to the above event and their neighbouring Deerananda College, Ambalangoda emerged girls (A division) champions with Vidyartha College, Kandy ending up boys winners. This three day event was conducted by the Schools Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka saw a large number of schools in the island taking part.

The results (under 16) boys: A division- Champions: Dharmasoka College, Runners up: Royal College.

B division- 1. Royal College, 2. Isipathana College.

C division- 1. Kingswood College, 2. Royal College.

D division- 1. Kingswood College, 2. Kingswood College.

(Girls) A division- Champions: Dharmasoka College, Runners up: Musaeus College.

B division- 1. Girls' High School, Mount Lavinia, 2. Dharmasoka College.

C division: 1. Dharmasoka College, 2. Dharmasoka College.

D division: 1. Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda, 2. Pushpadana Girls' College, Kandy.

(Under 10) boys: A division- Champions: Vidyartha College, Kandy, Runners up: Dharmasoka College.

B division- 1. Royal College (B), 2. Royal College (C).

C division- 1. Dharmasoka College, 2. Dharmasoka College.

D division- 1. Sri Sumangala College (B), Panadura, 2. Sri Sumangala College (C), Panadura.

E division- 1. Anura Central College, Yakkala, 2. Nalanda College (B).

F division- 1. Anura CC (B), 2. Sri Sumangala College, Panadura (A).

G division- 1. Anura CC (C), 2. De Mazenod College, Kandana (B).

H division- 1. St. Peter's College, Colombo, 2. St. Peter's College, Udagama.

Girls: A division- Champions: Deerananda College, Ambalangoda, Runners up: Dharmasoka College.

B division- 1. Girls' High School, Mount Lavinia, 2. Mahamaya College, Kandy.

C division- 1. Dharmasoka College, 2. Visakha Vidyalaya.
