and they should continue to become
professional in that field for their own development as well as for the
development of the society, President, Institute of Personnel Management
Sri Lanka (IPM) Lalith P. Wijetunga said.
Addressing students who completed the Certificate Course in Human
Resource Management at the BMICH yesterday.
He said Human Resource Management is a highly recognised subject in
the world and the IPM as the Nations Leader in HRM has developed a large
number of students through its study programmes over the past 49 years
and has produced prominent HR professionals in the country.
Secretary IPM Neil Bogahalanda said the Institute has invited
renowned HR gurus like Dave Ulrich for the forthcoming National HR
Conference along with local expertise to be able to share the
experiences and invited the recipients to participate at the event which
will be held at the BMICH on June 2 and 3.
Nine hundred students who followed CHRM course from 2006 were
presented certificates and A.N.A.P Adikari was awarded the Best Student
Trophy at the ceremony. |
