9 decomposed bodies of LTTEers found

The Security Forces found nine LTTE decomposed bodies including those of five female Tiger cadres along with weapons during a search operation in Periyapandivirichchan, Vavuniya on Tuesday afternoon.

Accused in Canada terror-funding case gets bail

Prapaharan Thambithurai, the first person in Canada to be arrested for allegedly raising funds for a banned terrorist organization, is a short, slight, middle-aged man who runs a satellite dish company in north Toronto. A father of three children, the 44-year-old Canadian was charged in Vancouver with soliciting funds for the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam.
