Munchee VB nationals begin today

The National Volleyball Championship for men and women conducted by Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation and sponsored by Ceylon Biscuits for the Munchee Trophy commences today.

The first stage of the championship the Divisional Secretariat level matches will get off the ground with the opening ceremonies at Bandarawela public ground and Pindeniya Police Court, Galigamuwa.

These two ceremonies will be attended by Minister for Justice and President SLVBF Dilan Perera and Ranjith Siyambalapitiya Minister for Finance and Public Revenue respectively.

A total of 2760 mens and womens teams have entered this years battle for supremacy from 20 districts including North and East.
