Pakistan, Lanka target $1 bn trade

PAKISTAN and Sri Lanka on Thursday decided to work together to achieve the target of US$ one billion in bilateral trade in the next few years, the News Network International (NNI) news agency reported.

Janashakthi Insurance to go for an IPO

JANASHAKTHI INSURANCE, Sri Lanka’s leading insurance company will go for an Initial Public Offering shortly, its sources said. General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Ravi Liyanage told Daily News Business that the directive IBSL made of all insurance companies to be listed in the CSE had prompted them to take this decision.
