Uva schools functioning smoothly

Schools in the Uva Province are functioning smoothly except eight schools in the Moneragala district, a statement issued by the Government Information Department said quoting Uva Province Chief Minister Vijith Vijithamuni Soyza.

The Chief Minister said schools at Helagama, Okkampitiya, Galthammendiya, Niyadella, Gonaganara, Dambeyaya, Okkampitiya Janapadhaya and Subodiyana will be kept closed until the last rites of those massacred are held.
