The Finance Company (TFC), has achieved the
milestone of a savings deposit base of over one Rs. billion. TFC has
the distinction of being the first finance company to win this
landmark achievement.
Networking among collectors and recyclers of
plastic and polythene waste under the National Post Consumer Plastic
Waste Management Project is progressing well. Nearly 70 recyclers
and collectors have registered by January 1 under the project.
A limited liability company has been formed to
export Sri Lankan herbal products to the international market. The
company will also supply herbal products to local pharmaceutical
companies in a more organised manner.
