Market dull

In another dull day at the CSE, both indices fluctuated between marginal positive and negative borders throughout yesterday and closed slightly lower.

The ASPI slipped 3.28points to close the day at 2378.88 while the MPI dipped 3.23points to finish at 3052.63.

The low valued counters demanded highest interest volume wise and TESS topped the list with 0.34mn shares and was followed by TAFL with 0.29mn shares.

Meanwhile SLTL saw 0.28mn shares change hands within a narrow margin of Rs.29.25 - Rs.30.

Total turnover for the day touched Rs.110.0mn and the highest contributor was CINS with Rs.49.68mn. This was mostly due to two crossings on the counter of 0.2mn shares and 0.06mn shares, both at Rs.180 per share. Other contributors included SLTL with Rs.8.51mn and BUKI with Rs.5.69mn.
