Hockey team selected for Asian Fed. Cup

The Interim Committee of Sri Lanka Hockey Federation has selected twenty three member team which will take part in the under 21 Junior Asian Federation Cup international hockey championship which will be staged in Muscat Sultanate of Oman from January 12 to 22.

This tournament will act as a forerunner to the Asia Cup Hockey Championship which is one of the the biggest events in the Asian hockey calender.

The 23 member pool will be pruned down to 18 after the final trials which are being carried out presently in two different venues at Nandimithra Ekanayake Hockey Stadium in Matale and Astro turf, Reid Avenue, Colombo these days.
