Nobel Prize winner featured on LMD

The head of Grameen Bank Bangladesh and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Prof. Muhammad Yunus has been featured in the latest LMD magazine released.

Featured on the cover of the trailblazing journal, Yunus says that those who claim that Sri Lanka is heading towards the ranks of 'failed states' are badly mistaken - the reality is that Sri Lanka's prospects are bright, especially if and when there is a solution to the ethnic conflict.

In an exclusive interview with LMD's Suresh Ginige, Yunus elaborates on what he considers to be Sri Lanka's strengths, not to mention his view that we can and should play a leading role in the region.

LMD, which is distributed to leading bookshops and supermarkets island-wide at the beginning of every month, is the flagship of Media Services.
