Sailing for Maersk Trophy

Sunday will see the sailing for the Maersk Trophy, a highlight of Sri Lanka's annual yachting calendar, being sailed on the waters of Bolgoda. A colourful event is expected with more than 40 sailboats of the international GP14, Enterprise, Laser and Optimist classes competing for the coveted trophy.

Hosted at the Ceylon Motor Yacht Club, the regatta will present a colourful spectacle from many parts of the shores of Bolgoda Lake. The first race is expected to commence at 11.30 a.m. (RD)
