Suspected bomb was school bag

MT. LAVINIA An unattended bag found near a telephone post along Hotel Road, Mt Lavinia Ground noon yesterday caused concern among people and the police in the area for a brief moment.

The Army and police summoned to the spot found on examination that it was a school bag left by a student containing a school uniform, a pair of shoes, a water bottle and a cap.
