Hajj quota increased

COLOMBO: A total of 5,500 Hajj pilgrims from Sri Lanka will be able to perform Hajj this year.

The Ministry of Hajj Affairs of the Government of Saudi Arabia has increased the Hajj quota to Sri Lanka by an additional 2,720 on the request of Minister of Petroleum and Petroleum Resources Development and Minister Coordinating Hajj Affairs A. H. M. Fowzie.
