The NCE Export Awards 2006

The Golden Night of the Sri Lankan exporters, the 15th annual NCE Export Awards ceremony was held at Hilton Colombo last Friday.

The country’s main exporters were recognised as the best of the best for 2006 in the export sector.

Award winners were selected from ten sectors such as garments, industry, minerals and export of business and professional services.

The Gold award for best Sri Lanka Brand exporter was awarded to Imperial Tea Exports (Pvt) Ltd. Selyn Exporters (Pvt) Ltd won the Gold Award for the Best Woman Exporter of the Year.

Each sector was categorised as small, medium, large and extra large businesses. The gold, silver and bronze award winners were selected under each category.

The Most Outstanding Exporter Gold Award winner was Loadstar (Pvt) Ltd and the Most Outstanding Exporter Runner Up Silver Award was won by Colombo Dockyard Ltd at the Awards ceremony.
