Fonseka heads IAA

Imal Fonseka took on the Mantle of President of the Sri Lankan chapter
of the International Advertising Association (IAA).
Fonseka thanked the outgoing President and Board and promised to
carry on many of the initiatives launched by his predecessor Ranil de
Silva, including the Mantra workshop series the IAA leadership series
and the IAA Diploma programme.
He also outlined his own vision for this term in office according to
Fonseka “the IAA still has a very important role to play towards the
betterment of the Marketing. Advertising and media industry in Sri
Lanka.
I will endeavour to keep the IAA focused on its education,
credibility, commitment and clearing house competencies with which we
have continually added value to our members and the many stakeholders of
this industry”.
The International Advertising Association (IAA) headquartered in New
York was founded in 1938 to champion responsible marketing.
The IAA with its 56 chapters in 76 countries is a one-of-a-kind
global partnership whose members comprise advertisers, media,
advertising and public relations agencies, media companies and
