A’pura Magistrate’s Court fully computerised

ANURADHAPURA: The fully computerised Anuradhapura Magistrate’s Court will be officially opened by Chief Justice Sarath N Silva tomorrow.

The People’s Bank sponsored the computerisation programme on a concept of Anuradhapura Magistrate Wasantha Jinadasa.

The Anuradhapura Magistrate has to cover the functions of the Medawachchiya and Kahatagasdigiliya Circuit magistrates courts too.

The computerisation of its work would help streamline the activities of the Anuradhapura Magistrate Court and clear a vast backlog of cases, Anuradhapura Magistrate Wasantha Jinadasa said.
