KP not arrested

BANGKOK: Thai authorities have denied the arrest of Kumaran Pathmanadan (KP), the LTTE’s arms procurement chief and a suspect in the Rajiv Gandhi murder case.

No such arrest has taken place, a spokesman said.

There had been surveillance on KP for some time but there has been no move to arrest him, they said.
