APRC expedites deliberations

COLOMBO: The All Party Representatives Committee seeking consensus on the ethnic conflict met on Monday and Tuesday and the discussions were based on the agreement arrived earlier by the APRC members.

Minister Tissa Vitharana said the President requested them to expedite the discussions and arrive at a final settlement acceptable to all members.

The Minister said the APRC meetings are continuing and a positive outcome can be expected soon.
