Malaysian Independence celebrated

WARAKAPOLA: The School Development Society of Babul Hassen Central College in Warakapola had organised a volley ball and a foot ball tournament to mark the 50th Anniversary of Malaysian Independence and with the Libyan Independence.

Chief guest Labour and Manpower Minister Athauda Senaviratne, Member of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Udayakantha, Libyan Counsellor Essa Ahmed and Ibrahim Al-Jarrah were participated.

The tournaments ware held at the Babul Hassen Central College ground yesterday morning. The Ganithapura Green Lane volley ball team was awarded the Malaysian Prime Minister’s cup and BHCC foot ball team was awarded the Colonel Mohamed Al-Ghazafi cup.
