Government Printer in International Jury

Government Printer and the Chairman of Sri Lanka Institute of Printing Lakshman Goonewardena has been invited by the Kyoorius Exchange of the Government of India to participate as a jurist for Kyoorius Verdict, India’s first Independent Design and Print Excellence Award.

The event which began yesterday will be held upto September 10, 2007 in Goa, India.

Goonewardena will be a member of the international jury, comprises most professionally qualified and experienced Printers in the region.

Goonewardena is a qualified printer who has received many post-graduate level qualifications from leading Graphic Arts Institutes/Universities in UK, Netherlands and Germany.

In addition to his work as the Government Printer he dedicates his time towards the development of the printing industry in the country as a senior lecturer and the Chairman of Sri Lanka Institute of Printing, the pioneer professional body committed towards the advancement of knowledge, skills and expertise in the Graphic Arts Industry in Sri Lanka.
