Nelson is suspended

CRICKET: Director of the R. Premadasa Stadium K. M. Nelson has been suspended pending an inquiry following an argument with the secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket K. Mathivanan.

The SLC who are in the process of upgrading the lighting system at the R. Premadasa Stadium had requested to switch on the lights but has been turned down by K. M. Nelson which resulted in the verbal confrontation.
