Seminar, workshop on documentary heritage preservation

COLOMBO: A three-day seminar and a workshop on preservation of documentary heritage in Sri Lanka will be held from July 23 to 25 in Colombo with the assistance of UNESCO.

This has been organised by the Memory of the World Sri Lanka National Committee and the National Library and Documentation Services Board (NLDSB) jointly with the Korean UNESCO National Commission.

A large number of librarians, information professionals, archivists, document conservators, information managers and other officials will take part in the event.

The resource persons will be Korean and Australian specialists with the assistance of the local experts in library and archive fields.
