New national coach for carrom

CARROM: We are pleased to inform you that the Carrom Federation of Sri Lanka has appointed Mr. Langley Mathiasz as the National Coach in carrom.

He has played carrom and represented Sri Lanka for over 30 years and is the most experienced player in Sri Lanka. He has also won the National Men’s Champion title seven times and has qualified in India as an International coach obtaining an ‘A’ Class pass at the Examination.

His services will also be available to all members’ players who attend practices at the Federation on two days of the week - Mondays and Fridays from 3 p.m. - 6.00 p.m.

It is hoped that players will make use of this golden opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the game of carrom.
