Milk powder packs at lower prices in budget shops

COLOMBO: Milk food companies have agreed to sell milk powder welfare packets in Government retail stores at a lower price, Trade, Marketing Development, Co-operatives and Consumer Affairs Ministry Secretary R. R. M. K. Ratnayake said.

The low-priced milk food packets are available in co-operatives and Lak Sathosa shops. The companies have agreed to sell 25 per cent of their production in welfare packets, the Secretary said.
