the club has further by adding to the excitement by awarding points on

Pauline Morley in second place with 24 points. Aida Andrea with 19
points is in third position.
General Manager of the VGCR British Golf Professional Mike Varney
said that "The revised format of the 2007 order of Merit is very similar
to the way a Tournament Professional gets money on tour - it is all to
do with the player's position in the field and the strength of the
field. If one of our players wins their division in the medal against 50
other golfers they will be awarded 50 points. Second place gets 49
points right the way down to last place getting on points.
If the same player wins a Medal with only 30 players then he gets 30
points and so on. It is the best way to find out who are our most
consistent players. |
