Entries called for art competition

COLOMBO: The Green Party of Sri Lanka has organised an all-island students art competition ‘Environment and Our Future’ to mark world Environment Day which falls on June 5.

The contest will be in two categories, junior category for students in 1-8 Grades and senior category for students in 9-13 Grades.

All art works should be in 18x14 inches size and candidates can send in any number of entries in any medium of their choice.

Name, address and telephone number of each candidate should be written on the back of this artwork and contain the respective Principal’s authorization that it is the candidate’s own creation.

The winner of the first, second and third prizes will be awarded cash prizes and certificates while there will also be merit certificates to those winning the next 10 places.

Entries close on May 20. All entries should be sent by post or handed over to Green Party of Sri Lanka, 66, High Level Plaza, Delkanda, Nugegoda.
