Bank Governors’ parley

COLOMBO:A meeting between Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Mervyn King, Governor of the Bank of England was held on Thursday, at the Bank of England, Threadneedle Street, London.

The challenges faced by Central Banks in the current turbulent time and possibilities of introducing Resource Exchange Schemes between the Bank of England and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka were discussed at this meeting.
