Comprehensive info through CB’s redesigned website

WEBSITE: The redesigned website (www.cbsl.gov.lk) of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka was launched by President Mahinda Rajapaksa on March 30.

The website of the Central Bank was first established in 1997. During the past ten years it has undergone several ad-hoc infrastructural changes, as it expanded in line with the global technological advancements in the banking and financial sector.

Its contents have now been reorganised, restructured and expanded, and are presented with a new look, to enable easier and more organised navigation.

The main objective of redesigning the website was to present comprehensive information relating to all key functions of the Bank, especially its two core objectives, namely, economic and price stability and financial system stability and to provide access to the latest economic and financial sector information available with the Bank.
